Dr Gordon Cable

Dr Gordon Cable

Gordon is a specialist in aerospace medicine. He is an honorary life member of the Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine, and chairs its Space Life Sciences Committee. He holds Fellowships with the Australasian College of Aerospace Medicine, the Aerospace Medical Association, the Royal Aeronautical Society and the International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine. Gordon is a member of the National Committee for Space and Radio Science.

Dr James Waldie

Dr James Waldie

James has a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) from RMIT University. He earned his PhD from RMIT working on skinsuits for extra- and intra-vehicular activity. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT, he worked on physical deconditioning countermeasures for space. He was also a consultant at the NASA Johnson Space Center for investigations into improving gas-pressurised gloves. He is now an Adjunct Principal Research Fellow at RMIT, works with ESA on his SkinSuit program.
